Like many others I’ve been playing battlefield games for years. The first bullet I ever fired was in BFBC. I started playing right at the end of its life cycle. A couple months before they released BFBC:2. If I remember correctly Modern Warfare had just been released as well. Maybe. It has been a while. Since then it has been a long complicated story with this franchise.
Skipped a few in the series and picked up some others. The last one being Battlefield V. I wasn’t a big fan. Which crushed me because I’ve put way to many fucking hours into Battlefield 1. I thought perhaps that BFV was an anomaly. Despite titles like Hardline. I was wrong.
I do like this game. Because unlike any other fps I play. I don’t care if I die at all. I know its sad to say but I do care when I die in fps. I want to do good. I want those massive killstreaks, multi kills galore. Lose of limbs, explosions. you get the idea. Well, with this game. I simply do not give a fuck. To be honest with you. I love that there isn’t any scoreboard. It really helps with my enjoyment of the game.
On the flip side. this game has so many glitches I absolutely regret paying 60 dollars for it.
I’ve put in around a months worth of play time. What I meanly that is that when I do sit down to play I’ll play it for an hour or so. usually just put on an audiobook and get lost in it while I half heartedly try to blow my foes face off with a sms sniper rifle. I
Also, I’m using the sniper rifles in this game. I tend to shy away from sniper rifles. In bf1 I used support because with it you had access to the gun with the highest ammo count in the game. I hate reloading. So sniping has never been really high up on the enjoyment factor for me.
I’ve also always been a vehicle whore. Yet the only vehicle i’ve even tried using in this iteration of the franchise is the transport vehicles. don’t get me wrong I remember the Blackhawk being the most over powered bullshit in BFBC2, so I knew the potential for egregious death being there. Yet I don’t care about that. I’m just bullshiting when I join a match.
I’m not saying the game is any good, but I’m having fun with it.
There was a hot fix today that added >>>drumroll<<< a scoreboard.
It’s an insult really.
EA really is trying to use the Den MaK on the battlefield franchise.
